Yoga Team
Elixr’s Yoga teachers embrace Yoga as a way of life, with many having spent time living and training in India. Elixr is unique in that we have a team of Yoga teachers that specialise in authentic yoga disciplines - Hatha, Iyengar and Ashtanga - providing you with the opportunity to experience and choose the style of Yoga and teaching that is most suited to you. -
Alexandra Cutler
Alexandra is a passionate yogi, having immersed herself in yoga since 2003. Her journey took her to India, where she spent time living in an ashram and delving more deeply into her practice.
She teaches dynamic, flowing hatha classes; guiding her students to explore themselves more deeply through awareness of the breath.

Andrea Ondruskova
Movement has always been a passion for Andrea. She first came across yoga during her dance training. Immediately, yoga and its philosophy have deeply inspired her beyond just the physical practice, but as a way of life.
After 10 years of practice and study, exploring various styles and having experienced the transformative power of yoga on all levels, she felt inspired to share her belief and contribute to the world through teaching.
She enjoys seeing students opening their bodies, minds and hearts on the mat.
-
Don Peers
Don Peers has been teaching yoga since 1995.
He has trained with leading practitioners in Australia, India and the US and while living in India also studied Pranayama and mediation.
In addition to regular classes he runs yoga retreats and teacher training programs in Asia.
Don believes that the inward journey that occurs through yoga practice is as important as the final destination.
-
Margaret Ceresoli
A certified Iyengar Yoga teacher with 24 years teaching experience, Margaret has a keen and ongoing interest in all matters pertaining to the ethical, spiritual and philosophical aspects of Yoga.
Her wealth of knowledge and personal teaching abilities has students lining up for her classes.
Margaret and her husband Glenn conduct international teaching courses in Byron Bay.
-
Mayumi Hagiwara
Mayumi has been practicing yoga over 10 years. Ever since her first class she was drawn to its energising and calming quality, and before long Yoga became her passion. The focus of her practice is on the breath and the meditative quality of Yoga. Her teachers include Eileen Hall, Trevor Tangye, Clive Sheridan and Don Peers among others. Mayumi enjoys seeing her students working through challenging postures with a sense of calmness and evenness of breath.
-
Susanna Topp
Susanna has been practicing Yoga in several traditions for sixteen years, and teaching for eight years. She conveys the inspiration and joy she derives from her own practice.
Susanna is particularly interested in balancing the nervous system and energising the body, which can promote deeper awareness.
In earlier years she trained to become a Zen monk and a painter/sculptor.
-
Stella Chambers
With love of yoga and practice for more than a decade, Stella decided to become a teacher in 2005 to share her passion with others! Her classes are dynamic hatha vinyasa based, very fluid and include music, visualisation, pranayama, and fun.
Yoga is practice with passion and dedication. Stella brings her classes alive by encouraging her students to challenge themselves, their bodies and minds.
-
Trevor Tangye
Trevor is a devoted student of Yoga and has been teaching Yoga since 1978. He originally trained in Iyengar Yoga before meeting and training with Pattabhi Jois, the founder of Ashtanga Yoga in 1988. Trevor is one of the few to be authorised by Pattabhi Jois in 2004 to teach Ashtanga.
Trevor has also practised Shadow Yoga since 2001 and has taken inspiration from the founder Shandor Remete since the 1980s.
"Yoga requires the student to apply principles of discipline and will without losing the qualities of pleasure and creativity; some patience is also required."

Yuki Nakazawa
After Yoga became Yuki's favourite activity, he began attending numerous classes and studied Ashtanga, Iyengar and Hatha Yoga with respected teachers such as Pixie Lillas, James Bryan and Nicky Knoff.
Yuki's goal is to educate members on how to feel more relaxed and energised, and loves it when people look happier after class than they did before.
